| Public Transport | Please note that the local JR train line is no longer operational. The key public transport hub in Shizunai is the Shizunai Bus Terminal, which is located at the site of the former JR Shizunai Station. Our clinic is approximately a six-minute taxi ride from the bus terminal. From New Chitose Airport (CTS) The most common public transport route from the airport to Shizunai is via express bus. Please be aware that this is not a direct service, since a transfer is required at either Tomakomai or Mukawa. The total journey time is approximately three hours. We recommend checking the Donan Bus schedule in advance for the best connection. Alternative Route For more frequent services, you may consider taking a bus from the airport to Ōyachi Bus Terminal (in Sapporo), where you can transfer to a service bound for Shizunai. By Car For those travelling by rental car, the journey from New Chitose Airport takes approximately 1.5 hours via the Hidaka Expressway. On-site parking is available at the clinic. Taxi Fare Estimate (Airport → Shizunai) As a rough guide, a taxi from New Chitose Airport to Shizunai (a distance of about 87.5 km) is likely to cost around ¥25,000. Please note that this is an estimate; the actual fare may vary depending on the time of day, route, traffic conditions, and taxi company. |
